Join Our Free Roundtable Series and Help Solve Nonprofit Technology Issues!

Our first Roundtable, Optimizing the Nonprofit-Consultant Relationship, and our second session, Navigating Technology Costs: Affording Technology Projects as Nonprofits and Service Providers were real successes-- thanks to all of the nonprofits and consultants who attended! Eric Leland, Director of TechCommons, led the explorations of these timely and relevant topics, which included plenty of lively contributions from both NPOs and consultants.

Please check back soon for updates and announcements about our next Roundtable. Everyone's got something to offer and something to learn!

What is the Nonprofit Technology Roundtable Series?

The Roundtable Series helps the local community tackle nonprofit technology issues through in-depth conversation and collaboration between NPOs and technology consultants. CompuMentor's TechCommons program, www.compumentor.org/techcommons, intends to convene six innovative and dynamic Roundtable discussions over the next year. Through the Series, we help:
  • Create opportunities for Bay Area nonprofits and nonprofit technology assistance providers to share and discuss technology experiences and expertise
  • Foster collaboration toward building relevant technology tools and resources
  • Encourage resource matching among participants
  • Identify and develop common advocacy efforts and shared vision
In creating community and working collaboratively, we can elevate the standard of Bay Area nonprofit computing, thereby allowing nonprofits to focus on their important missions.

Who Should Attend and Why?

All nonprofit roundtable participants will come away with new tools, resources, and a network of support to save time and money. This is also a great opportunity for nonprofits to have access to and build relationships with tech experts. And these discussions provide nonprofits the forum to network with other nonprofits, share information and discover new opportunities.

Technology consultants will acquire new skills, new contacts, new resources, and new approaches to problem solving. They will also be exposed to new business development opportunities and potential collaborations.
